Anti-static PVC

PVC anti-static flooring is a type of plastic flooring primarily made from pure polyvinyl chloride. Conductive materials are added to the sheets, giving them permanent anti-static properties while maintaining excellent flexibility. It is mainly used in various settings that require anti-static floor decoration.

Applications

Factories: Plants producing semiconductors, computers, communication equipment, and other electronic products.
Institutes: Places such as computer rooms and laboratories.
Offices: Locations like telecommunications bureaus, computer rooms, and precision equipment rooms.

Performance Characteristics

< Resistant to chemicals, super wear-resistant, and scratch-resistant.
< Excellent flexibility and convenient construction.
< Conductive materials distributed within the product ensure permanent anti-static functionality.
< A variety of colors suitable for combination designs.

Installation Foundation Requirements

1. The ground must be kept dry, level, clean, and solid.
2. A moisture barrier is essential, with humidity not exceeding 5%.
3. Concrete floors should be leveled with a smooth cement mortar screed.
4. Direct installation on asphalt floors is not permissible.

Process Steps

Mark the installation lines for the veneer and the copper foil on the ground with chalk. Apply conductive adhesive to the ground (allow 10~20 minutes for drying after application), and only use the specified conductive adhesive!

Installation of Copper Foil

1. Lay the copper foil in a cross shape at the center of the veneer.
2. Leave a 30mm gap at the grounding point of the copper foil.

Laying of Veneer

1. After the conductive adhesive has dried, choose a starting point to begin laying.
2. Spread outwards from the center of the chalk installation lines.

Welding of Veneer Joints

1. Once the conductive adhesive is completely dry, carve a V-shaped groove along the edges of the veneer to half its thickness.
2. Weld using a 3.5mm diameter PVC welding rod.
3. Cut away any part of the weld that protrudes above the surface with a knife.

Grounding: After the veneer installation is complete, connect the copper foil with a wire and ground it directly.

Maintenance and Upkeep

1. Use a neutral, high-quality cleaner to wash the floor and dry it after use.
2. For contaminated areas, simply wipe clean with a cloth.
3. Avoid scratching, dragging sharp or rough heavy objects across the floor surface, and prevent walking on the floor with studded shoes to maintain a smooth and even surface.
4. Avoid placing chairs with black rubber pads on the floor to prevent contamination by black sulfides.
5. If the floor surface has grease or dirt, use a stain remover or laundry detergent to scrub. If the surface is scratched or scuffed locally, use fine sandpaper to sand it smooth.
6. Maintain the floor with anti-static wax, generally waxing once every six months, or once every three months if there is heavy foot traffic.
